All visitors must get a visa  (possibility  to obtain at arriving  airport)
Caution  malaria, hepatitis, bilharzias  -  Advisable to drink bottled water only.
Bring your personal medicaments.

:: Customs :: Money
No limit on currency. No convertible upon departure.
Exporting handicraft is permitted, except, plants, rare wood, animals that require authorisation.
Currency: Franc Malagasy  is floating – approximate rate +/- 1 US$ = 2500 ARIARY
Currencies, traveller’s, credit cards can be changed in banks, and main hotels, restaurants and  shops. VISA is more used.

The world’s fourth island –  1.600 km  long and 600 km at its widest point. 5000 km of coast line.
Southern hemisphere. Tropical climate with rain falling between November and March. Dry season (winter –  in highlands) between June and  September.

GMT + 3 18 ethnic groups. Sharing a common language. French is widely spoken. Many people speaking English. Exceptional welcome.
